Yuki Tsunoda x Japan
Japanese culture recognizes the short-lived life span of the flower as a symbol of the transience of human existence. When cherry blossoms bloom, they flourish into vibrant and potent flowers only to fall from their trees two weeks later. This is seen as a melancholic yet beautiful metaphor for our fleeting lives. Yuki Tsunoda at Alpha Tauri had a mixed 2020 season filled with positives and negatives. Relating this to the Cherry Blossom, I used this as an inspiration to design this artwork.
Anthony Joshua x Jamaica
Anthony Joshua has always loved a vacation to the Jamaican Islands and therefore taking inspiration from the vibrant Jamaican colors I designed this artwork. The image used in this also has some personal history as this was the match where I became an AJ fan and watched all his professional bouts thereafter.
Kane Williamson x Maori
Kane Williamson has been a constant for the New Zealand cricket team. This artwork is based on the Maori art culture which still prevails in New Zealand. One unknown fact about the Maori Tattoos is that no two tattoos can ever be the same. The fiery culture from the land of the long white clouds was the main inspiration for this artwork.
